One of the unexpectedly exquisite things we explored in the Wash House collection is interpreting undergarments as outerwear. It’s a trend that’s dominating the most upscale European runways, and it’s authentically in line with what we’d have found in among our trunk treasures at Granny’s. We elevated it in luxurious velvet, but kept with the smocked detail silhouette and peekaboo tie front.
